The final two are faced with their toughest tasks to date. They must each manage massive charity events. After battling with one another to pick "employees" to help them, one candidate coordinates a celebrity softball game, while the other transforms a downtown nightclub into a star-studded comedy event. A finalist is left reeling after a star cancellation and Mother Nature threatens to destroy the other's plans.

Well it looks like this is going to go along the lines of A3 and the interviewing process will be minimalized to the first 30 minutes. Has anyone heard if this is going to be a 2 part episode or if it is going to be 2 hours? The only other time for the interviews would be episode number 11 and I don't think the inteview's take place then. I guess it would depend on when the live finale takes place. It could be that the last hour of this episode is part of the planned 2 hour finale and then the last hour will be when DT announces the winner? Not sure.

Let's look at the numbers...
Going into Episode 10 we still have 5 people. Assuming that there are no more boardroom massacres (i.e. more than 1 person getting fired per episode), going into episode 12 there would be 3 people.
So that means Ep 13 should be a standalone episode with its own challenge that the final two must compete on.
At this point I think it's unlikely we are going to see more boardroom massacres.

For the sake of argument, let us pretend that 2 people get fired. If this is the case, I think it would be deliberate planning. So is the formal interview process going to be eliminated? If it is eliminated in A4, will it be eliminated in the other's? Why would MB deviate from the formula for this show?
Any thoughts????
***** KIND OF SPOILERISH- but not really ******************************************
In his fishbowl interview, Clay states that Adam came to the loser hotel ( not what he called it) and he was really sad. After Brian was fired, either in his exit interview or somewhere, he said he was sad for Marshawn that she got fired as well. Having said that , this could be the case for Adam. That is , if there are 2 firings. I am not totally convince that MB would deviate from the formula for the show. Not sure.

Yes, it would seem logical that 2 are fired. So this kinda blows cuz we only get an hour to watch the final task and see them "fight" to pick their teams. At least in A3, the final task was about 90 minutes. It was a 2 parter but still. I could be wrong, their could be an episode 13 but that would make episode 12 a two parter. Does anyone know the date that the actual finale is set to air?
On a side note, Does anyone think that Martha will have an interview round. If she does , it will probably be with people within her own organization?

Yeah, explain to me why more than one would be fired, the season has already been cut short. Someone must have screwed up BIG, or Trump or MB were pre-picking who they want?
Posted by: paige | November 23, 2005 at 01:34 AM
Okay , I was right, the season finale is going to show the conclusion of the final task. See- http://nbcumv.com/
This all leads up to "The Apprentice" live season finale, Thursday, December 15 from 9-11pm ET. The two-hour finale will be broadcast live at Lincoln Center and will feature the conclusion of the final two tasks, a cast reunion and ultimately the live boardroom hiring of Trump's newest employee who will receive a $250,000 'apprenticeship.'

Paige there is nothing more to explaine. Read the up comming episode guide. IF you can read at least at a 2nd grade level you will understand. If if you still need us to keep explaining to you then maybe this show is to advanced for you and it's back to Sesame Street for you.
I am just tired of reading Paige in every week every episode board asking for us to constantly explain this and explain that. ENOUGH!
Posted by: NY10021 | November 23, 2005 at 12:26 PM
I agree Ny10021 Paige is either to young to understand this show or ignorant.
Posted by: Nonka | November 23, 2005 at 12:32 PM
in defense of paige,
he/she knows that there's gonna be two people fired, (s)he just wants to know why on earth trump would choose to do such a thing at this point in the competition. You have to agree with me that even though we all know it beforehand, it's still pretty unprecedented in Apprentice history.
Posted by: hotkeys | November 23, 2005 at 03:19 PM
Go to past episodes/boards and Paige is constantly asking us to explain things to her over and over and over and over. We have to explain exlanations and then explain that expalnatin over and over and over and over and over come on
Posted by: zathura | November 23, 2005 at 08:09 PM
I noticed that to. Paige, How old are you? Or is English a 2nd language? I am not trying to be rude asking you these questions. If you are a young person or not understand English very well I feel for you. Everyone is trying there best to explain the show to you constantly. It is not hard to follow and understand if you speak English. I don't want to ask you what seems to be the problem....cause we (all of us posters) will have to repeat ourselves to you for the million'th time. Seems every episode is hard for Paige to comprehend.
Posted by: DanaK | November 23, 2005 at 11:54 PM
Paige Let me EXPLAIN TO YOU for the last time...turn on to PBS and watch Sesame Street... and Kirmitt the Frog will explain first why it is not easy being green and maybe Trump will make a guest apperance and Kirmit will get more explinations about the Apprentice show.
LETS TURN THE PAGE OF PAIGE AND IGNORE HER

Can you explain how can these people be on the show tonight if they were already fired.
Posted by: Paige | November 24, 2005 at 06:00 PM
I have to agree with HOTKEYS on one thing, what is the purpose of firing two? These multiple firings, while entertaining, seem to miss the point. In all cases where multiple have been fired there has either been a huge mess up, or they are just plain dumb in the boardroom-must be one of the two.
Posted by: Meg | November 24, 2005 at 08:25 PM
The season is probably so short b/c of lack of sponsorship. Each task has seemed like a commercial. I'm sure they let him know that at some point multiple people would need to be fired, they probably planned on firing two people per task in the end but b/c of the huge screwup were able to let go of four people. The reaon I think the multiple firings were forced is b/c he seemed extremely hesitant to let Marshawn go. I am also wondering how you guys think it will be Alla vs. Randall. It seems to me that if two people are fired it will be the two from the loosing team. Also think of it this way in the past seasons when there have been four contestants two have been fired and two go on to the finale so it does make sense. Also considering each show is about 40 minutes long I would rather see another task than clips of the interviews.
