Finale
The final two candidates complete their two huge tasks and meet with Donald Trump for the final live boardroom showdown originating from NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. After the climactic "hiring," the third "apprentice" will choose their job and take a seat on the other side of the boardroom table.

Kendra-Good Luck!

I have never liked or agreed with this process of bringing back the fired cast members to work with non-fired candidates on final tasks who are trying to become the next Apprentice. It`s a total conflict of interest in many ways and it`s completely wrong and unfair to the final candidates. It`s a bad idea all the way around.Nothing but negatives. It helped cost Kwame Jackson The Apprentice in Season 1.
Tana is going to win her task and become the next Apprentice. She is doing a good job of keeping all the channels of communication open with all her Team members.I don`t think trying to change her team members was a bright decision nor was calling her team members the 3 Stooges a Professional way to behave but I don`t think these 2 incidents will have any negative effect on her in the end.Tana doesn`t have the best team members either but this won`t cost her the task. She`s staying on top of everything very well.
I have always wanted Kendra to become Donald Trumps next Apprentice but I just don`t see it happening because of the bad situations that she is in over her head on with this task. Kendra is not going to be able to pull off a victory this time. She has very bad team members and this will be a factor in her losing.More importantly Kendra isn`t going to be able to fix up that room overnight with or without help from her Team.I predict the sponsor of the event will pull out of the event.Plus the fact that she has 100 other responsibilities to stay on top of the make the task a success. She`s being overrun and overwhelmed with too many problems and so little time to fix them all.If you think I am wrong please feel free to tell me why.I wish I were wrong but I honestly don`t think I am.My 2 cents. Thanks for listening.

You are falling right into MB's hands, dude/dudette. This is exactly what he wants you to think. Cheer up. Mark my words, Kendra will be the next apprentice.

CARLITO`S WAY (dude)----------I really hope you`re right and I am wrong.Yes I want and need to cheer up.I agree. Just let me add that I didn`t like what I was seeing on Kendra`s task. Not very encouraging.Still I hope you`re right that she wins The Apprentice.I really do.Go Kendra.

The girl from Sony was just putting on a big show. She has been working on this project a lot longer than Kendra and she knows it. Again, just a spin to make Kendra look "Bad" and Tana look "Good". Trust me.

I'm glad that some of you have tapped into the editing and noticed that in past seasons, seeming "disasters" at the roll of the credits do nothing to predict a winner. Bill with all that excess merchandise in the offices, Kwame losing Jessica Simpson, rain on Kelly's polo field and the MC backing out of Jenn M's event... Kendra's PS2 room and Tana's cell phone/parking thing are just there to tease us!
I doubt these problems will go any further than the first 10 mins of next week!

I hope you're right. My Kendra HAS to become the Apprentice. I will question the whole meaning of this process if she doesn't.
Posted by: Jamison | May 06, 2005 at 01:53 AM
I will be interested to see how Kendra motivates her team to fix the room to satisfy the sponsor.
I can't see how Kendra could be held responsible for how the room looks. She didn't choose the venue for the event, so she had to work with what she was given.

Whatever she thinks of, she'd better think of it fast.

Kendra wins this
Do you really think someone who pulled an all nighter to develop a brochure for Pontiac could not handle Sony.

Carolyn said last week that she could never see Tana working for DT. I can't see one task changing her mind. Kendra has to win this. She's the better qualified and she's done the best job in all of her tasks. Plus, she has a better record as PM.

PS- did anyone else think it was funny that they showed Erin with a pen in her ear just when the voice over talked about team deficiencies.
Morale of story- don't put a pen in your ear no matter how bad it itches at the moment.

Craig Fired on 'Apprentice'; Two Women Left
Friday, May 06, 2005
By Adam Buckman
Two women have made the finals of "The Apprentice" (search) for the first time.
Kendra Todd (search), 28, of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Tana Goertz (search), 37, of West Des Moines, Iowa, emerged as the two finalists on the NBC reality series last night following the dismissal of Craig Williams (search), 37, of Conley, Ga.
Williams was canned following a series of intensive interviews with four CEOs —David Brandon of Domino's Pizza, Darlene Daggett of QVC, Howard Lorber of Prudential Douglas Elliman and Greg Brenneman of Burger King.
After interviewing all three remaining contestants, the execs told Donald Trump they were least impressed with Williams, and he was fired.
Todd and Goertz were then assigned new tasks, which will play out over the next two episodes of "The Apprentice," culminating in the show's season finale on Thursday, May 19, when one of them will be hired.

That was funny when that guy was flirting with Kendra and he got upset when Erin interrupted them. (LOL)
I`m ok with spoilers as long as Florida Kendra is doing the spoiling.
What was Tana thinking when she wore that outfit into the Boardroom?
Millionare Chris looks more mellowed out than I have ever seen him.He seems more relaxed. No Chewing Tobacco sightings in last nights episode.
Good to see Danny "Guitar" Kastner back.He reminds me of Sam from Season 1 of The Apprentice.
Kristen looks as pretty and angry as ever.
Big mouth Brain seems a lot more mellow.
I e-mailed this website to Kendra.I hope she`s checking it out when she has the time.
I wonder who The Apprentice guest will be on Dennis Miller tonight.
And yes now that Craig is Fired and he will be doing the various media appearances on Television be prepared and watch where he wil be praising Tana and badmouthing the lovely Kendra.

And you gotta know that the one Mr. Trump really wants is "Tons of Heart" Kendra, not "Sorry, It's Time For My Beauty Rest, Please Go Win The Project Without Me" Tana.

Kendra will become the Apprentice for several important reasons not yet mentioned.
First, the Donald does not want to hire an individual without a college degree. Higher ed is very important to him, especially those diplomas from ivy league schools. Did anyone not read his latest interview? He is unimpressed with this seasons contentants and wants to return to choosing people from the best schools. He believes that is more appropo for his organization.
Second, these assigned events are unequal in difficulty. Introducing a video game is small potatoes compared to marketing the Olympics. Compare the size of the budget and arena and the diversity of the consumer. No comparison. I would like to see Carolyn handle the Olympian event that Tana must put togeter with that rag-tag crew in less than 24 hours. I doubt anyone could. The producers gave Tana the more difficult task to allow Kendra to win. Jeepers, Kendra has to decorate a basement!
Third, Tana's crew is a joke. At least Kendra has the benefit of Erin, who is smart and capable and did progress rather far in the show. Angie would have been comparable to Erin, not Kirsten. Eeek.
Fourth, what happens to the myth of higher education if Tana wins the Apprentice? The myth is that college educated individuals are smarter, better and tougher. It is only allowed to exist when we that are degreed perpetuate it, such as Donald and Caroline.
Lastly, I do believe there is a subtle east coast bias on the show that works against the midwest mama. Two of the interviewers seemed to dismiss Tana based on the fact she is from Iowa, talent notwithstanding.
My fellow viewers, Kendra will win because the Donald will not hire, and will never hire, a person without a degree, to be his Apprentice.

Katja, I agree with some of your points. This is why I am convinced that this final showdown is just to create drama for the viewer.

DG
Kendras task is more than decorating the basement- you need to watch the episode again.
Posted by: SG | May 06, 2005 at 04:56 PM
I don't agree with the task being tougher. Kendra has sponsors to please in addition to decorating the space. If they are not pleased with the space obviously they could pull out and that would mean a lost of business.
Posted by: Cher | May 06, 2005 at 06:08 PM
In addition, Kendra's background is real estate and marketing. Tana's is in cosmetics and e-Bay. Without a clearly superior performance, Kendra is the "safe" pick although I still question her management capabilities.
I will say that the more I see, the more I think the viewers get manipulated by the producers to see what isn't necessarily there.

From a standpoint of creativity Kendra is amazing. No one on any of the seasons has had that kind of creativity and vision.
I have met with marketing dept. domestic and international and I am very impressed with her approach her vision is incredible. I would love to have her work for any company I own.
As the one interviewer said she will be a superstar.
Whether you like her or not you can't deny her vision for her projects and taking those visions to the final product.
