Who's Calling It Quits.
Okay, we know someone is considering quitting - we just don't know who or why. So the speculation begins.
Is it based on something we have already seen, or is it a tragic mishap on the show or in their personal lives. Does someone simply get tired of the game playing and conflict, these are successful professionals after all. Would you put up with this lack of professionalism and childishness in your business?
Has Verna realized that last week was just the start of the late nights and lack of lunch?
Is Angie tired of pointing out the obvious to her team members?
Has Audrey's cold built into something much bigger?
Does Kristen decide that the backlash from her fighting with Brian will just get her booted at the next loss?
Or is it something else?
So, we asked what people thought - click to see the poll results below.

It's interesting that even though Verna "rebounded" from last week's meltdown, and Trump admitted that he was impressed by comeback stories, that she is still the favourite for quitting this week. Personally I think that it's going to be another candidate who says "You can't fire me, I quit." I just can't put my finger on who it will be. The game has just begun, and while it's gotten messy, these people can't be surprised by that after watching the last 2 seasons. If they didn't watch the last 2 season, they really came unprepared. I'd be disappointed if it were Audrey, but her illness is really the only clue we've seen that would make quitting make sense to me. I could also see some justification for Kristen quitting if her team comes down on her hard for her active involvement in the Motel loss. But she's been in another reality show (Murder in Small Town X), so this personality conflict situation can't be a surprise to her. The only other situation I can see arising that would cause someone to quit would be a family emergency, something similar to Heidi's situation in season 1. So, what do you think? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

in Episode 5's guide summary, it says a 6th candidate goes home. this may mean that two people will be out by the end of the night

People break down and manage to come back will not quit easily. I think Verna is not the one who will quit.

I'm sorry, but I'm not thinking about who is going to quit tonight. I'm thinking more about which of the women will be strutting their stuff in FHM or Maxim. My bets are on Stephanie, Audrey, Erin and Tara. I'd love to see the out-going Tana, but I think the only thing holding her back from doing it would be her husband and two children. Comparing these four to the previous seasons' photo sessions, I would say Season 3 wins on looks, but Season 1 wins on business-style.

Some quit - and someone attempted to quit last week. BUT is it what it appears - or just PR.
If someone does quit right at the beginning - it has to be Verna. From the promo, the way Trump asks for anyone else wants to quit, you know it's not for family reasons.
We'll find out soon. and Live Blog tonight at ApprenticeViews.blogdrive.com.

Well that was a pretty uneventful and anticlimactic "I quit". I guess I was just too quick to assume Verna was done dealing.

U Patel,
Please stop being a mind-reading pervert.
You called Donald Trump a lier for saying that he did help clear off the mortgage loan of a person who helped him when his limo broke down on the street. You were completely off the mark for your sinister slap on Donald's character.
Now, you are working your punditry again: "People break down and manage to come back will not quit easily. I think Verna is not the one who will quit. Posted by: U Patel".
Today, it was revealed that it was Verna indeed who quit the show.
Please do not spread your half-baked, concocted, and spurious pschyic knowledge around.
Thanks.

Hey guys,
everyone is entitled to an opinion with getting personal attacks directed at them.
Analysis and viewpoints about the show, the candidate's performance, the tasks and the business lessons are what this is about.
Please play nice.

Hay "U Mind Reading Pervert" you told me to stop making abrasive comments earlier. Here is a piece of advise (completely free!), Its always good to demonstrate before advising someone to do so. As far as my mind reading pervertness goes I can tell you are red nack.

While I am not an advocate of Danny and his look I really do believe he was targeted in a way. I mean all those cookiecutter corporate 'candidates' put him down when he stayed real to his roots and continued to be himself. I like Danny, I think he got a raw deal. In fact, almost all these candidates are a joke. Danny seemed the 'realist' out of all of them.

I make the mistake of believing that the people behind the scenes of big business are close to gods, creative geniuses against whom ordinary mortals cannot be measured. The talents portrayed in The Apprentice are often, well... always depressingly Human. This isn't meant to be insulting in any way, but I while I live in my blissful ignorance I convince myself I haven't the chops to do such things, and when I watch I consistently feel these are things at which I would be extremely proficient. Actually I really haven't much patience for the foibles and histrionics often in the episodes, and tend to suspect it is a purposeful establishment of a 'noir' in an effort to create exactly such a feeling. What the heck, though, sign me up. A season on television can't be that bad a place to play! I had a fantastic idea for that Dove body wash commercial, too... Pity...
