Ivana is due to get the boot

A Reply to Mr. Vertical Slash or Mr. I’ posting on November 21, 2004, 0:30 PM, which said: “I cannot see how Kelly could lose”.
Mr. I, You are very emphatic in saying that Kelly just could not lose in the Apprentice 2 finale. You think that Jennifer M. is such a weakling that Kelly will make a mincemeat of her in the Apprentice 2 grand finale on Thursday, December 16.
Well, I believe that whether Jennifer M. or Kelly will win on December 16 depends on who Donald Trump decides to bring back to support them as their team members in the final episode.
If Bradford, Amy, Katrina, Sandy, Nick, Wes, John, and Raj come back to support Jenn M. and Omarosa, Sam Solovey, Jennifer c., Stacie J., Maria, Elizabeth, Chris, and Stacie R come back to support Kelly, Jennifer M. will become the winner and she will be declared the New Apprentice for the Year 2004.
ON THE OTHER HAND,
If Omarosa, Sam Solovey, Jennifer c., Stacie J., Maria, Elizabeth, Chris, and Stacie R come back to support Jenn M. and if Pamela, Kevin, Ivana, John, Wes, Sandy, Raj, and Bradford come back to support Kelly, then Jennifer M. will end up in the spot of last year's Kwame and Kelly will succeed Bill Rancic as the New Apprentice 2 for the Year 2004.

"I dont know why Sandy will last that long, all she does is run a friggin bridal salon"
You can't underestimate Sandy consider she pulled of a victory the real estate task as PM and that scores points with Trump since he loves real estate. On the other hand she needs to take more charge and I assume these next few weeks are crucial for her to prove herself.

THE PROBLEM WITH KELLY
He is a West Point Grad and his degree is not in a field Trump likes such as law. But, his biggest problem is that he is OLD. At 37, he is the oldest guy in the competition. An impressive old guy, but too old to take under your wing. Kelly is still in this because he is so good, but any little mistake and one is bound to happen and Trump with pounce to eliminate the remarkable player.
Posted by: | 23 November 2004 at 18:55
correction, he does have law degree - but not from the east coast ivy league. Still he is 7 years older then his nearest rival agewse. It hurts as a 35 year old to say it, but this is the Apprentice not the Partner.

If you are rich, you can hire a bunch of people with MBA and PHd to polish your shoes.

I highly doubt Jennifer makes it to final 2. Unless they are manipulating what we see to create a false impression of her, she definitely won't make it past the interviews.
In episode 10 Trump scolded Chris for giving her a pass and revealed that he has been onto her for a while. I think that the misplaced praise from the folks at Levi's stirred a few of the candidates up, but I don't think it fooled Trump, Carolyn or George.
To make it to final 2, they have to be grounded - able to lead, formulate plans, etc., but also not to be ruffled by adversity that pops up. Jennifer is definitely good at reacting to adversity by covering her own a$$, but there is no way she's rounded enough to lead and create in the first place.
Trump's top guns are brutal - they saw right through Amy and Nick last season, and they'll have no problem getting to Jennifer's lack of depth this time around.
If, somehow, she does make it to the final two, I don't care who you put on her team ... she'll be in over her head.
I feel pretty good picking Kelly to go to the final two. He's the only one who has the same ability to quickly size things up and stay on task that Bill had last season. My other pick is Kevin, but that one's more process of elimination than anything else.
The two ladies outfought Andy this time out, but it's not like that was a big challenge. They needed to fight to overcome serious deficiencies. Ivana is such a wild card. I'd love to see her in the final two. She's got great ideas but is easily rattled and lacks the polish to cash in on her good work by raising her stock with Trump.
One thing regarding the final challenge, if it is similar to last time. Throughout the game the challenges rely a great deal on creativity. The final challenge, on the other hand, is almost all logistics. The creative work has been done - it's all down to management and leadership. This definitely does not play to the strength of any of the remaining ladies.
Bring it on ... I'm dying to see how it all plays out.

Good analysis Brian, but according to Peter's MSN spoiler, Ivana is the next one out and do you notice Jen M is with the losing team the most, whilst Kelly the opposite.

WOMEN OUTPERFORM MEN IN APPRENTICE2
All men, whereever they are, may say what ever they want: That the Apprentice 2 women are bitchy, catty, quarrelsome, downright annoying, devious, cunning, trojen horses, and what ever.
With the completion of episode 12 and with the sacking of Andy, now the verdict is sound and clear:
IT IS 3 WOMEN VS. 2 MEN NOW.
From the numerically superior and stronger women side, the women to beat are Ivana, Sandy, and Jenn M.
Frm the numberically inferior and somewhat weaker men side, the men to defend their honor and compete against the women for the Apprentice 2 title are Military man Kelly and Wharton graduate Kevin.

But what is up with the promo showing Ivana yanking her skirt down???
My bold prediction: no boardroom. Trump hears about it and fires her, no matter who wins.
Posted by: kd | 29 November 2004 at 10:43
Definately...unless her team wins
Posted by: Steven | 29 November 2004 at 18:07
From the preview, Look like Ivana was in the boardroom and DT was stunned by Ivana stripping in the street. So I think Ivana is going next.
Posted by: Go Menifer | 29 November 2004 at 18:43
Kennifer M.: don't come in here to complain about your class prejudice.
I say Ivana has the right strategy: bare it all to get $$ while she has the cams rolling, she know she's getting the chopper soon anyway.
Contestants are consistent with their racial insecurities.

3ws&2ms, you sound like a freaking idiot obsessing over the fact that there are 3 women and 2 men left.
it's not about women vs. men. it's about who's the best candidate. almost everyone agrees that the women left aren't that great -- not because they're women, but because they just flat out suck. except maybe jenn, who is only good at covering herself. if jenn makes it to final 4, she will get rocked.
Posted by: steve | 30 November 2004 at 01:53
Steve,
Thanks for your support for Jennifer M.
I completely endorse your statement: Jen rocks. You are absolutely right.
Thanks for your another compliment to Jen: "they just flat out suck. except maybe jenn".

Why in the world is Ivana stripping to her bloomers??? YILES!! If Apex loses, I hope DT fires Ivana and if it were Mosaic, FIRE Slimy and duplicitous Jen. By the way, why is everyone so "hypnotized" by Jen's looks? She looked pretty sorry without her makeup!
Posted by: Emily Bronte | 30 November 2004 at 06:23
I prefer Sandy to Jennifer too, but I predict Sandy will go first. Hopefully the final two will be Kelly and Kevin instead of Jen.
Posted by: JEN SUX | 30 November 2004 at 07:20
Kevin can't beat Jen M without the help of Ivana, Jen M would be in the final two, if Ivana got fired first.

"Steve Falls for Jenn," thanks for your continued idiotic posts. It's funny that you keep changing your name, but everyone still knows it's you because of your dumbass comments.
my opinion that jenn is better than the rest of the two women isn't actually a compliment. it's like saying someone smells better than crap. no one in their minds can imagine sandy and ivana running a trump company. they are the crap. jenn is slightly better than crap. kevin and kelly on the other hand, are on another tier.
to reiterate, i said if jenn doesn't get fired in this episode, she will get rocked in the final four. DT and his associates won't be pushed around like the other contestants.
i also said she is only good at covering her own ass. that implies that she isn't good at everything else that matters ie. integrity, being a good leader, putting out, etc. in the end, that wasn't much of a compliment. but hey, for someone like you, with lower expectations, that could mean a lot.

Brian...
Best post I've read so far....all except Ivana being in the final 2. I would not like to see that. Don't she deserves it.
Posted by: Peter | 30 November 2004 at 23:42
Steve, A question to you. In your defensive comments about your Jenn bashing postings, you said that your earlier opinion that "jenn is better than the rest of the two women isn't actually a compliment". Why are you splitting hairs? You paid a compliment earlier and now you are saying that is not a compliment. If, according to you, all three women - Jennifer M, Ivana, and Sandy are crap, why do you think that Donald Trump let them stay in the show. If, according to you, all three women - Jennifer M, Ivana, and Sandy are crap, then, who, in his right sense and non-defective min, will try to compare the crap from the crap and waste his time and other people's time in saying one crap is better than the other crap. Don't you see, how non-sensical, your extreme intolerance of women, is turning out to be?
In your attempt to extricate yourself from your earlier praise of Jennifer M, now you are denigrating the the rest of the two women, Ivana and Sandy even more.
Are you saying that, (in your words) "jenn is better than the rest of the two women" and the rest of the two women - Ivana and Sandy are worse than Jennifer M.
Now, with that posting, you have now moved from denigrating one candidate, that is Jennifer M, to condemning three candidates, tha is, Jenniger M, Ivana, and Sandy. In essence, you are saying that none of the three women left in the show have any good qualities that will make them to compete well against Kevin and Kelly, the two men left in the show.
The only thing that stands out very clear from his postings is that you want either of the two men, Kelly or Kevin to win, and you do not want any of the three women left in the show to either be one of the two finalists or be the new apprentice from the Apprentice 2 eighteen week job selection tv series.

If, according to you Steve, all three women - Jennifer M, Ivana, and Sandy are crap, then, who, in his proper sense and non-defective, right mind, will try to compare one crap from the other crap and waste his time and other people's time, as well, in saying that one crap is better than the other crap. Don't you see, how non-sensical, your extreme intolerance of women, is turning out to be? Please use your time more wisely! Think before you write! As far as possible, minimize your prejudice and jaundiced mindset and see things with a more open mind and corect frame of reference. I am sorry, if I have annoyed you. But, some one needs to bell the unruly, uncivil, and untempered, wild cat.
