As the only female manager of a lignite mining operation, I have been an avid fan of The Apprentice. I have the utmost respect for Carolyn and George both, but I really identify with Carolyn's intuition and solid thinking. I would consider it a great honor to spend even the smallest time with these extremely successful people.

I would love the chance to meet with George and Carolyn. I admire their business ethics, their drive, and their loyalty. I would like the chance to get inside their head for a minute. I think that one can learn a lot from them within those 15 minutes.
Good luck to all!

Dear Carolyn,
Subject: A message from a soldier in Iraq.
I just finished listening to the audio version of Carolyn 101
and I felt inspired to send you this email and ask you a few questions.
But 1st I think you should know a little about me.
So that you may better understand my situation
I am a SPC, in the Army Reserve and I am leaving for Iraq on Monday October 18th.
My unit is looking for people to step up to new leadership positions in our detachment and therefore I am looking for any advice or suggestions from you to help me step up and better help my leaders over me.
We are a detachment of about 30 people that will most likely be broken up into groups of 4 to 5 man teams to perform personal and HR services for soldiers in Iraq.
This group has known each other for many years on a 1 week end a month basis and some close friendships have developed'
But we have allowed our ambitions and drive to lessen over the years and we haven’t always lived up to our full potential.
Now we have only a short time to get ready for war so my number 1 question to you is:
How can I at my current position step up to more responsibility and also help my leaders perform their duties?
When over my last 2 years I have done little or nothing to deserve it.
My number 2 question requires you to know a little bit more about me.
First I was a former factory worker who was able to save my massive over time pay to start a business in my early 20’s and by the time I was 25 I had made a lot of money as a day trader. But one shouldn’t confuse brains with a bull market and by the time I was 28 I had lost nearly all of it.
In those years of hardship I went back to school and earned 5, 2yr. degrees,
in my spare time (after the market had closed) and at the same time I read Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Poor Dad and Thomas Stanley’s, The Millionaire’s Mind and found out about the importance of a military education in the lives of many millionaires so like Eisenhower I joined the AG Core in the hopes of one day becoming President.
After returning from my 5 months of basic training I was able to turn the money I had saved into a sizable sum and now at 30 I have regained most of what I had at my peak at 25.
I even thought of applying for apprentice 2 but since I had known about my military deployment for over a year now I didn’t see much of a chance in that knowing that half way through I would going to Iraq. So I got a job selling copiers for a fortune 40 company with the best in product and services for 2003 & 2004 by BLI & JD Powers I decided to do this because Robert Kiyosaki, Ross Perot & even Nick Warnock sold copiers and said it would be the hardest sale you could ever make. I ended up running the largest territory in Los Angeles. I will return to this job after Iraq. So my question to you is:
How can I show my worth to my superiors
where I am by nature very introverted having spent 3 years as a quiet factory worker and 6 years in a home office situation trading stocks and 6 months selling copiers?
