First 1/2 - The Interviews
The first half of Episode 13 was made of up real job interviews with Trump's advisors
They sat down one on one with each of the remaining 4 candidates and grilled them:
This didn't look like a game, this was serious business primarily because these are the people who will have to work with who ever wins this 'game'.
I would have liked to see more of this portion of the competition. It's rare to get to see someone else interviewing at this level.
But the results were interesting:
Amy
Some quotes from the debrief
Nick
The general concensus on Nick was that he was a Sales Man not a leader.
Some quotes from the debrief
Fired First:
Nick Warnock - "You're a sales man and not a leader" said Trump.
Fired First:
Amy Henry - Trump's message - My people need to be inspired by a leader before they can respect a leader.
Bill Rancic and Kwame Jackson are the final 2.

Great - the two biggest milktoast [sic] candidates survive. Neither of these clowns is fit to run anything - they tend to run from challenges and blame others for their failures. Wait a minute - they seem like PERFECT candidates for middle management in a company controlled by an egotistical, money-losing, dictatorial jerk-off. Super hire!

General comments:
First, the only firing I disagreed with was Troy. Have no idea why Kwame skated. Troy is a much better leader, risk taker, and negotiator. Kwame would do well as an actual Apprentice, not as a leader of a company. I feel that Kwame could do great after some mentoring.
Having said that, Kwame is right with the ‘never let them see you sweat’ comment. When Omerosa dropped the ball with transport, he should have met with Jessica Simpson’s father, and straightened the issue out. I’m guessing that she was waiting for a limo @ her home, and when Omerosa failed to schedule one, that’s where she stayed. Now Jessica gets to have a private jet pick her up!
Omerosa should have her tasks taken away and marginalized, if possible. Doubt that that will happen with Kwame at the helm, but the team is better off without her.
But the point is, Kwame is too passive to be a leader. Troy tried to find out what was going on when Omerosa dropped the ball with the initial dinnertime phone call, but he had no power to follow it up. Watch Troy actually manage the project from here on out, and Kwame get the credit, or, perhaps, Trump will hire Troy on the last episode. Won’t that be a nice plot twist.
However, if Bill relaxes, and takes care of business, then he wins. Next week, if the focus is on Kwame/Troy’s team, that means that Bill is taking care of business, and there is nothing interesting to show. The camera will focus on the problems, which are more interesting.

What I can't believe is Omarosa's bald-face lie! When Diane from the transportation company called to report Jessica Simpson missing, Omarosa told Kwame & the others that the phone call during the previous night's dinner was just a message asking her to give Diane a call.
The balls to lie on TV about something you KNOW was caught on tape! Omarosa is out to sabotage Kwame. She's no good to nobody and needs to adios.

Kwame's big comment from the interviews was about how he projects his energy: it's not that he's less energetic, but that he internalizes it. Trump acknowledges that Kwame may be right, and that there's a lot of wasted energy around the organization. Maybe too many employees trying to be seen, and not enough doing the right things? Interesting business study there.
As for the second half, after her stellar performance in "I have a concussion" I can't wait to see how Omarosa spins not only having failed miserably at her task (didn't retrieve the band, couldn't even find Jessica Simpson), but having lied about the phone call reminding her to set it up. I'm thinking she's pretty much done in her career in five minutes of
television.
On the other hand, all the reviews I can find of the Jessica Simpson concert don't mention any mishaps, so I guess it worked out okay. Convenient that MTV was filming the parts (i.e. for Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica) that NBC (for The Apprentice) wasn't. Seems it all happened last October (? I can't find anything suggesting it's more current than that); Nick & Jessica weren't into the Oktoberfest action at the hotel so they wandered into NYC for their anniversary. Let's see if Omarosa gets them transportation, or if they do that on their own, too. With this much lead time, they could have cross-promoted on The Simpsons, too.
There are even comments about "Trump water" making it into MTV's footage. (Concert from around Oct. 25; MTV airdate around Jan. 21).
I haven't checked up on the golf tourney Bill & Amy etc are running (ran), but I kinda doubt there's as much coverage on the web since it doesn't run into so much cross-promotion.

Perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised by Trump's coments to the effect that he ended up with two guys instead of two beautiful women, but I was. The producers seemed to pick eye candy instead of serious candidates, and they got women who relied on their flirtatious appeal instead of serious business savvy. Puh-leeze! So the bottom line that I take away is that when they stacks the deck for ratings, Trump ends up with the best of the lot, but not necessarily the best.

I was banking for Kwame until:
This past episode, Kwame's 1st mistake as a leader was to choose Omarosa. His 2nd was to not confront her, if not fire her for her deceit and laziness.

Was the Omarosa lie set up by the producer?...I think it HAD TO BE! Otherwise...how did they catch the Trump Asst. on film giving Omarosa the bad news? It had to be pre-planned by the producer. It was too clean.

For anyone interested...I received a link today that I wanted to share. It is a site where you can "Slap Omarosa"!! If you were as disgusted by this woman as I was...go...check it out and slap her...the link is
http://l.funforwards.com/redir.cfm/2783/21617/2661/26432220
And just for the record....I think Troy should have won! I don't think that his formal education should have matter as much as Trump made it out to matter in the end. I think he did a great job, after looking at all the websites for the contestants, I found his the most interesting and straight forward. He is "real people" not "cloned".

Bill should not of won. It was ALL Omerosa's fault!! Pre-planned? maybe. Troy shouldn't of gone and neither should of Amy!!!! They were the best there and-HOW DID AMY ANNOY THE CRAP OUT OF THEM???? I love Amy! She is one of my all time favorites! Oh, and thanks for the page I LOVE slapping Omerosa!!!
