Wow - well... I guess it's clear now. Trump is looking for people who stand up for themselves. Jessie is the second Apprentice fired for letting Omarosa patronize her and run roughshod over her while Jessie continued to say she liked Omarosa and not defending herself when attacked. And come on... it's not like he didn't give her repeated opportunities. Kristi, too.
I'm becoming more and more impressed with how Trump is treating the people in the boardroom - or at least how he's edited. I’m not saying I would make the same decisions, but he is giving the people at risk not so subtle clues to what he thinks is an appropriate response to what is going on. In fact, in most cases he has given each of the potentials a very clear idea of what he's thinking and how they should respond in the last phase of the boardroom meetings.
I’m astounded that these women aren’t asking for Troy & Kwame’s advice on what Trump is looking for in the boardroom. They’ve seen the safety line and pulled themselves out.
If Kristi & Jessie are too dim to see Trump throwing them a line - how can he rely on them to pick up subtle clues in a real business situation?
Omarosa on the other hand, seems to try and pick up on these clues –almost too late, but not quite. Omarosa’s “sharp edge”, rude, and superior nature has pissed everyone off, including Trump, George and Carolyn.
George suggested that Jessie’s failure was a Omarosa’s leadership failure for mismatching Jessie with Isaac Mizrahi. Carolyn called her on not being able to pronounce Mizrahi’s name when she met the man, and simply said she might have leadership abilities, but she didn’t show them in the boardroom. Omarosa’s “sharp edge”, rude, and superior nature has pissed everyone off. Funny that she was giving Tammy advice on interpersonal relations in the first episode.
But Omarosa’s game is very political. Her decision to take Heidi as the 3rd to the boardroom, is a key example. Throughout this episode Heidi, along with Troy, stepped up with quick thinking, good team work and creative brainstorming with the celebs to come up with Protégé’s highest value “experiences.” While Kwame’s performance was okay, based on performance on this challenge he should have been the 3rd.
However, Omarosa needed someone to take the heat off her and be an alternative fire, in case Trump didn’t think Jessie was a weak enough link this episode to let her go. So since
Omarosa made the smart decision to serve up Heidi as an alternative fire based on personality
However, it backfired. She very clumsily attempted a backhanded complement saying that at the beginning she thought Heidi had no class and was unprofessional, Trump was so shocked he couldn’t stop saying it was “maybe the worst compliment I’ve ever heard.” Repeatedly inviting Heidi and Jessie to agree with him that Omarosa wasn’t very nice and was very rude. But they were trying to be too “nice”.
While Omarosa’s behaviour was obviously highly offensive, Trump that it was worse to let someone treat you like that. So Jessie was fired.

I think it's interesting, though, that Omarosa's self-proclaimed verbal talents got her closer to being fired by the end of the episode. She was saved by Jessie's utter inability be honest about her dislike and inability to appreciate how appalling Trump found that.
I can't see Omarosa winning the game unless she's up against Tammy in the final two. But she's skilled enough to go farther, and I don't really think Jessie was. (I liked her, though, but maybe it's because she looked like Angelina Jolie and Ashley Judd's love child.)

Omarosa was a bore who appeared to think she was above everyone else. Funny thing was, she didn't offer anything worthwhile except her annoyance.
I'd never do business with either her or anyone who would hire her.

If that Omarosa woman can learn to pronounce "cement" correctly then maybe she can work for Jesse Jackson but not in corporate America.
