What is your definition of "success"?
"Recipe for Success: Study while others are sleeping; work while others are loafing; prepare while others are playing; and dream while others are wishing."
(Quote by-William A. Ward)
Who do you admire most (personally and/or professionally)?
I have great admiration for two very strong and vibrant women. My mother, Theresa Manigault, became a widow when I was seven years old. Although my mother was left with four children to raise alone she was extremely determined to make sure that we were happy and that we had everything that we needed to be successful in life. She was an admirable provider and a powerful motivator. Professionally, I admire businesswomen and entrepreneur Madame C.J. Walker. She was one of the first American women to become a millionaire, and she ran the largest business owned by an African American at the time. She also had great pride, sophistication and flair in spite of the overwhelming odds that she faced.
What cartoon character do you most relate to and why?
The cartoon character that I most relate to is Optimus Prime from the 'The Transformers'. Optimus Prime is the leader of the Transformers and works as a powerful force of goodness, courage and wisdom in the battle against the evil Decepticons. He first tries to find peaceful solutions to conflicts, but when battle lines are drawn, he becomes a fierce warrior capable of overpowering vast enemy forces to achieve his goals. I used to watch this cartoon when I was little with my brothers and sister and we loved it!

You lack all of the mentioned characteristics listed in your bio, therefore, you are inept, and terribly dumb in my estimation. You are, as Donald told you, so rude, no wonder everyone hates you. You are overbearing, as on Oprah's show - even your stupidity showed on Oprah's face. You are an embarrasement in all ways. If you thought you were making a good impression, think again. Today, I hear you were asked to leave your most recent employment!! How can you lie!! I guess it is easy, when you are oblivious to your ineptness!!!

I Hate what you did to Kwame Jackson in the last show...Your are so rude. You should be cleaning toiles.

I have to say that Omarosa is an embarassement to women in the Corporate world and everywhere. She would like to believe that she comes across as professional, smart and poised, when in fact, she comes across as lazy, rude and fake. I was appalled to see her antics on the show, especially since she must realize she was being taped 90% of the time. I am a team leader, and I would never put up with the attitude and lack of work ethic she demonstrated - she was disruptive for the team and took their focus away from the task at hand - it was all about her. I was geniunely surprised she lasted as long as she did. Omarosa liked to pull out the "race" card every chance she got. Her treatment on the show had nothing to do with the colour of her skin, Kwame was never treated as she was. Her treatment came from a disrespect for others and their ideas as well as a lack of a solid work ethic. I can assure you that I would never ask her to be at a speaking engagement. She should be ashamed of her behaviour.

Omarosa,
I simply do not like you. It began early in the show and each time you were involved in a venture my dislike for you increased. The 'straw that broke the camel's back' was when you actually LIED to Kwame and your "co-workers" about the call. How could you? What possible explanation could you have? You should be set on fire. I hate what you did!!

Omarosa, degrees don't always carry you in life; loyalty, honor, courage and integrity does. You disrespect for others is outrageous and whatever the producer was thinking when you got selected for “The Apprentice” was clearly an attempt to throw some turmoil in with a group of professionals to spice up this reality series. You have such a big chip on your shoulder; I’m surprised you don’t walk with a limp. I’m a Hispanic male who had no high school diploma, and raised on the mean streets of New York, I joined the US Navy at 17 and served with honor for almost 24 years retiring as a Naval Officer. My classroom was life, some people want to sit, read and write books about life, I chose to live life in a way that people write books about. I have pictures and letters from presidents and celebrities too, seen the best and the worst of people in peacetime and in war, I now work as an Associate for a 90yr old Multi-Billion dollar consulting firm which has a strict core value system of business ethics. Bottom line is, everyone has a story, and you just seem to think yours is better than everyone else’s. In my observations of your character, you probably will never got off your high horse because the horse will probably kick you square in the a--. Regardless you’re a liar, busted on national TV by millions, can’t hide from the facts since its now on tape. Maybe next time you’ll be cast for a different show which would be more your speed, like PUNKED…

I do hope that the nice lady that you accused ... [offensive content edited out]... goes forward with the slander suit. You are truly a liar and an embarrassment to us African-Americans. Shame on you!!

Omarosa is a pathetic, evil liar...How soft is America to let her get away with these obvious negative lies???????!!!!!!! We allow people to lie to the country like that? Her lies were so visible in front of us too!!! She tried to ruin Kwame while under his employ. If Kwame were able to hire better and honest people he admits he would have. That was his only choices. Its sad that Omarosa got away with such a cheap and redundant shot. She is an imbecile for trying it. Do not underestimate the viewers, we see through her. Only thing is American TV is too easy. My German friend said this would not fly in Germany. Germans are very upfront and would have exposed her properly in front of everyone. She cut everyone off on the Oprah show before they could say something about her, she thought she was clever by cutting them off before they could tell the truth, it was not fair. I so wish I was able to tell her off on the show, tell her she's not fired, but she's TIRED!!!!!! Enough of tainting TV with her lies, I just hope the idiots/people who eventually decide to hire her, keep her where she cannot do any damage to their company. She is well aware of the saying, "thats the pot callin' the kettle black", is not a racial slur. No one who wants to be hired on TV in front of the world would even dare say the "N" word, oh sure, a hopeful Apprentice would take the chance? how archaic, but she would actually deserve it, because she has only shown how low she can go. Its despicable to lie like that in front of everyone and we take it? Where's everyones backbone? I am black and I call my good friends, "nigga', "he's my nigga", its actually a compliment in this case, but I see through Omarosa and so does everyone else. She is not a good person or a decent, credible, trustworthy character...!!!!! Not to mention, if she really was called the "N" word, don't you think she would have contacted Donald immediately about this when it happened and don't you think she would be really upset??? She was so calm when lied about it, crossed her legs and said, "I am over it, lets drop it, I have moved on", BULLSHIT!!!!! Completely for press purposes, to get exposure and get notoriety...She's cheap in everyway!!!!!!!! I can't wait to pour my drink on her some day!!!!
Posted by: Chanequa Williams | 2004.04.15 at 03:34
Its so sad how jealous she is for Kwame and tried to rain on his parade. He is shining and she is transparent to us all and diabolical!!!! She is delusional and needs to seek professional help that she can lie on Oprah, her homey...I think Oprah was embarrassed for her too, she gave her a chance and saw herself she was sinking to the lowest possible a human can go on national TV and anywhere...Soooooo embarrassing!!!!

I can't figure why Omarosa was given a forum at all and allowed back? There was Sam, who at least had a comical edge, also other women who were so much sweeter? Why do we give negative behavior a forum? To expose them? Watch them try to weive a larger web? Well she has dug a pretty deep hole for herself and no one feels for her, unless they are really dumb and can't see through her, well there will always be those who do not read people well and she will bank on them till they FIRE her again and again. Her husband seems like a nice guy, he must feel sorry for her. HA!

What are you going to do when Kwame wins, Omarosa?Jump off TRUMP TOWER?
Posted by: Jared Anardo | 2004.04.15 at 04:05
Absolutely sad. Is there another word for it? Did you think that you were going to get the producers to 'cover up' your lies for you? Did you forget that you were on National Television? I feel sad for you. How is it possible for anyone to be so non-compassionate to another? Kwami deserved better. Never taught the Golden Rule, I suppose. I feel sorry for you and others like you. Will your lies and your mistakes, made in front of millions, ever be forgiven? I hope that, for your sake, they are.

Omarosa is such a poor example for young women in business to be watching on prime time T.V. She is deceitful, lazy, sleazy and hypocritical. She made fun of other women for getting emotional, yet she was the only person to make a scene in the boardroom. I understand that networks like controversy, but I hope we stop rewarding such low class behavior soon by turning our backs on her. By the way, I've had a concussion, and going outside to jump rope only moments after receiving one is impossible.
Posted by: Sarah | 2004.04.15 at 16:37
I think Omarosa is a mole. She testing Kwame reaction under pressure.
Posted by: TERRY | 2004.04.15 at 18:27
Omarosa is the most incompetent person I have ever seen in a business suit. I don't think Kwame will win, because of her antics. Unfortunately he didn't deal with her very well. If I was him I would put her in her place. I would have told her, "you messed up, you lied and that's not acceptable" and then I would have divested her of all responsibility immediately. It's too bad that Kwame isn't tougher, he's such a nice guy; I kind of wanted him to win.
Posted by: Caitlin | 2004.04.15 at 18:42
It's obvious the only reason she stayed on the show as long as she did was because she worked with Clinton. She acts like a high class woman, when in reality she is little better than an ant. I pity whoever married her, if she even is married, for they must have to put up with her for the rest of their lives. I hope that her actions don't effect Kwame's overall performance. It's not his fault she had to be choosen.
Posted by: Autumn | 2004.04.15 at 18:55
The venom directed at this woman is enough to make me sick. I do not like her. Truthfully I was hoping The Donald would get rid of her on the first show. She was so FAKE in all her interviews. She has deluded herself into thinking the American viewer loves her...then again Jerri did too on Survivor. Perhaps it is all the stuff she grew up with that makes her feel that she is entitled to things without all the work.
By the way, in order to have a concussion you have to have been unconcious. I got that from the doctor when my daughter hit her head. By no account, including her own, was she ever out.
I do think she might make a good replacement for Vanna White. It is well known Vanna was hired for her large head to body ratio. No offense to Ms. White, I am sure she is a very nice lady.

Omarosa has got to be the most hated person aside from Osama...hmmmm similar names. Any how She definitely tried to sabotage Kwame. She is a horrible person not surprised she did work for Clinton and is a Democrat so what else could we expect from someone who worked for that administration. She is completely incompetent and Kwame would have done better without her on his team even with only two people. Well I hope we never have to see or hear from that incompetent disgrace of a woman ever again. Hopefully all the rumors of her future talks shows etc are that..just rumors.
Posted by: Monica | 2004.04.16 at 01:39
2 things: 1st.. Don't hate Clinton cuz he hired her, cuz he also fired her. 2nd.. I find it horribly amusing that she claims to be a proud black woman and to be "tight" w/ Kwame... then basically does everything short of putting an actual knife in his back. Good job Omarosa! Ruin the chances for a real good man (and your black brother) to make it to the top of the corporate world! You're a filthy snake.
Posted by: | 2004.04.16 at 04:37
I agree with the other comments, and am relieved that at least some of us saw Omarosa as she is. Thinking of Kwame -- did she want to ruin him because of her jealousy? Because she thinks lying & deceiving is the acceptable way to "crush" others? She referred at least once to messing with the others' minds -- does she think that is acceptable in the corporate world?
Worse than anything, her most effective skill is the way she has learned to use blackmail to control others. I think that's how she tied Kwame's hands, and others of course. She clearly exemplifies her core mode of being (will crush you and enjoy doing it) by sending a threat that underlies everything she does, the threat that she will turn on you and use any means to injure you if you don't go along with her. The means most obvious to her are lying, deceit, and retreating to false uses of the race card if those methods fail. After the race card she would use the feminism card.
What's so disturbing is that she's not even evil. She has a self evaluation exxagerated to the point of delusion, she lacks the intelligence & imagination she would need to acquire actual competence, she hates those who don't cater to her -- could that be because she's just not smart enough or too lazy to learn other skills now that she's too old for the over-inflated beauty queen world? I think it's too bad that her arrogance & her ugly ways have made her a media celebrity -- maybe because of the human fascination with horrible things?

Omarosa I know that it is hard being a black woman
in this society and I think you are a smart black
woman. Those other women had no class. They were
threaten by you. No one hasn't said anything about the other women showing their nakedness and
using sex to sell. You were the only one that had
class about your body. People in this society thinks that race is not an issue but it is. It's a good thing you did not win so you can succeed with another company.

I think that many have pretty much summed up what they think of the young lady. I was just amazed at her as I watched several of the shows. She came across as very arrogant, self serving, self righteous,etc...and most of all ignorant of what life is really about! You could see that she really, really, thinks that she is in the right...and she is very very quick to toss the "race card" out and if that did not work, the feminism card. (I'm a minority) I liked Troy and Quami but most of the young people I watched seemed to forget in things such as being- trustworthy, honest, and having integrity etc...
Thats what people remember!!! However, who am I...that's all "ole school...and it probably does not fit in the 2000's. (I bet it still does.)
My 20 year old daughter made the comment that ALL the females played too many games.
Posted by: hugh | 2004.04.16 at 09:50
Osama--Omarosa pretty close call--Omarosa was a lazy.lying, ..tch, her experience working for the Clinton administration showed thru big time--she is an affront to all black females in the business world and personified the stereotype of the lazy, self obsessed black--it's all about me! Black woman everywhere should be speaking out about her and shame on Okra for giving her any kind of a platform for ecognition--bottom line -she cost Kwame a chance to win--wonder if it's possible to sue her for the $250,000 she cost him--by the way did you see Trump pull her away from the group at the end--sweet!!
Posted by: khigggs | 2004.04.16 at 10:51
Oh, thank you so much Omorossa, you just made the world of Black woman like like crap...I can attest to that one, because, I am an educated black woman. When I do find out what companies have hired you to represent their products...trust me...your time in "rotten" fame, will be very very short lived. Also, you may want to give some consideration on a couple of things. First, apologizing to Ereka...for accusing her of something that quite frankly we all knew you were lying...I am also convinced Oprah Winfrey was on to your act...you need to go and get some Anger Management classess...for one to be sooo vindictive and mean...you have to have some real issues...Second, you may want to consider going to CONFESSION...god only knows girlfriend...YOU NEED IT!
Posted by: Lori | 2004.04.16 at 11:09
All I want to say to you, is how could you stoop so low? God will get you for that.
Posted by: shirley Holmes | 2004.04.16 at 11:56
Omarosa is a disgrace. I almost hoped that she was a mole and that her behavior could be explained away with the revelation that it was all scripted to be a test. But that was not to be. It seems Mr. Trump himself made it a point to proclaim that there was no video evidence of her accusations against Ereka and gave Omarosa an opportunity on live television to address it. Instead, she used diversion as a tactic to avoid addressing it.
As many have stated above, her arrogance, ignorance, weak character and lack of integrity is not only an embarrassment, but an insult to the many, many strong and smart black women in corporate America. Her actions and unfortunate popularity (infamy now synonymous with fame) have underscored the negative stereotypes surrounding the image and abilities of black women.
My hope is that she will not profit or be rewarded for such obvious reprehensible behavior and any television entities and corporations reconsider hiring her. Shame on you Omarosa.
