Martha challenges the eight remaining candidates with the task of selling an outdoor product live on QVC. While one team watches two members battle each other for the most screen time, the other team watches as one of its members suffers performance anxiety that causes a last minute substitution. The losing team meets Martha in the conference room and one candidate is sent home.

So which two people fight for face time?? Hmmm... I'm guessing it's Jim and Howie.
Who gets stage fright? Could it be Leslie or Marcela?

Well, I struck out on that premonition. Another of the ones I thought would go far got booted home. It's really hard to tell amongst this group who is going to win.
Somebody turned a switch and lit up Amanda. From Ms Kendra the Quiet, Amanda does a 180 into a constantly yakking controlling bitch (more like I'd expect from an attorney). She needs to switch to decaf.
Speaking of which, Bethenny manages to lose every task and yet is as fearless and relentless as Jim is manic. She tries so hard, you hate to send her home and yet her track record says l-o-s-e-r week after week.
Psycho Jim and Bethenny are now going to team up on Dawna - that will be one obvious conflict next week.
The previews look bad for Marcela next week. I hope it's not the end of the line for her but the poor thing is turning into a battered wife amongst all these Type A personalities. She has this star-struck puppy quality but I just don't think Martha is looking for worshippers.
Leslie showed herself very well as did Ryan who controlled the three women with subtlety instead of machismo.
It's really hard to look at the remaining seven and pick a winner. Unlike Donald's where the winner keeps becoming obvious midway through the series, Martha's is tough to call.
BTW, was it me or was that fish house about the tackiest home you've ever seen?
I don't know what the ratings are for Martha but, if it's anything like the traffic on this board, someone's going to tell her she's not working out. And hopefully, they will pen a polite letter to her after breaking the news.

Jim is the only one on that show who is playing the game completely. He's manic and odd enough for the producers to keep him on the show. He's hard-working and competent enough that he dodges the "conference room" bullet each week. Politically, he's head and shoulders above the other candidates. Did you notice that he got each of his teammates to do what he wanted? He got Bethanny (and Howie) to plant the seed about Dawn. He plotted with Bethanny to get rid of Howie. He even got Dawn to compliment him on their working relationship. If he continues to skirt the line without crossing it, he will be one of the finalists.

TT,
re: the fish house... I personally found it quite amusing when the guy giving the tour said that Martha collected all sorts of taxidermy because she is an animal lover. Sorry Martha, dead animals on your walls said "Animal Lover" about 50 years ago... not so much anymore.
