Even when I am Gene fan and I think he did great as PM taking Hydra to win, I have to admit he was really rude with Ivanka, he overeacted! I understand his point but he could be nice at her even without telling much about the project if that was what he wanted. He wasn't just rude with the Boss's daughter, first of all she is a lady and that is not the way to speak to a lady, even so Ivanka was nice accepting his apology.

Gene fired?... Only because he wanted to be fired. Gene was sick of the game, he wanted to go home, he outsmarted Donald "the fox" trump at his own game. Gene knew exactly who should have gone, but he knew the choices he made would get him tossed, which was what he (gene) wanted, he is no dummy. Trump should have called his bluff and fired one of the 2 girls he (Gene) picked.
Without Gene Simmons, the excitement is gone, he was the only real star on that show, and the only one with a head for making money. The real losers here are the charities that will not benefit from the hundreds of thousands of dollars gene could have brought in. Celebrity apprentice, as of 1-18-08 went from a good show to a second rate "surreal life" reality show.
Get a grip Mr. Trump, you've been played, game over.

Gene Simmons has got to be the most direct person in the world. Unfortunately, when dealing with people, it's to a fault. He was perfectly correct, however, by saying the Kodak people had it wrong. The Kodak people said what they wanted, and Gene gave them an amazing campaign and then the teams were judged based on a different set of master criteria. Gene delivered a perfect solution to the criteria of 1. Originality, 2. Brand Building (Positioning) and 3. Profit (which, which when you think more globally, his concept would have easily surpassed any profits of a campaign strictly focusing on the ink). Kodak blew it. Gene Simmons delivered them an amazing campaign that they could take globally. What a disaster for the show and Kodak's credibility. But there is a solution: Mr. Trump can use the segment to teach that "When you are making a lot of decisions, not all of them can be 100% correct." "It is better to admit a mistake and correct it rather than live with the consequences forever." He should have also given the show a "Mulligan" and brought Gene back.
